Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that an Armenian soldier serving at a military outpost along the Artsakh-Azerbaijani frontline died today in as yet unknown circumstances.

The official report says that Private Grisha Khachatryan died from a gunshot wound while on patrol duty.

The ministry says it is conducting an investigation of the incident.

On June 11, an Armenian soldier was killed while serving on the Artsakh frontline after receiving a bullet wound to the head.

This incident is also under investigation.
