Armenian Government Increases Social Subsidies by 1,000 AMD

The government of Armenia today decided to raise family benefit subsidies to the needy by 1,000 AMD (US$2.45) per month.

Individuals receiving social subsidies and three month emergency assistance will also get 1,000 AMD increases.

Thus, average subsidies will rise from 29, 350 AMD ($71.95) to ($74.41).
