Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today paid a visit to the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan and congratulated Ambassador John Heffern on the occasion of U.S. Independence Day.

Sargsyan also sent a congratulatory note to U.S. President Barack Obama, underlying the importance official Yerevan places on Armenian-U.S. multi-sector cooperation.

Sargsyan told Obama that Armenia expects continued American involvement in the Karabakh settlement process as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
