At today’s government cabinet session, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said that after visiting hail damaged communities in Shirak he has set up a special committee to assess the overall crop losses.

The prime minister said that crops in 21 communities in Armenia’s northeastern province had been totally wiped out.

Abrahamyan said he has instructed pertinent state agencies to review the matter and come up with ways to assist local farmers.
