100,000 Euros to Reintegrate 100 Republic of Armenia Citizens Deported from the Netherlands
The Government of the Republic of Armenia (RA) today made amendments to the 2014 state budget and one of the decisions it adopted earlier to use the grant provided through the agreement between the Migration State Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and the Repatriation and Departure Service of the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice for the reintegration of 100 Republic of Armenia citizens deported from the Netherlands.
The money will be used to support the launch of a small business or entry into the labor market; training or professional development; social, legal, or medical assistance; provision of temporary lodging; arrival at the airport; and other personal needs.
Under the aforementioned agreement, Armenia's State Migration Service over a period of one year will provide at least 1,000 EUR ($1,362) assistance to each Republic of Armenia citizen forced to return to Armenia from the Netherlands.
More than 31 million AMD (a little over $76 thousand) in 2014 and 37 million AMD ($90.8 thousand) in 2015 will be transferred to the State Migration Service extrabudgetary account.
