Marchers took to the street in Yerevan today in support of Levon Hayrapetyan, an Armenian businessman arrested in Moscow on July 15 and later charged with taking a US$50 million fee in the 2009 Bashneft oil company sale. The Artsakh native has since been held in pre-trial detention. Marchers demanded that Armenian President Sargsyan petition Russian authorities to free him from detention while awaiting trial.
