
Armenian Villager Taken Captive in Azerbaijan Died Today
Resident of the village of Chinari in Armenia's Tavush Province, Karen Petrosyan who was taken captive died in Azerbaijan this morning.
This news was conveyed by Azerbaijani news media, citing the Ministry of Defense. According to preliminary information from Azerbaijan, the cause of death was acute cardiac failure.
The International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Azerbaijan also confirmed the news of Petrosyan's death.
Recall, Petrosyan crossed the northeastern Armenia-Azerbaijan border on August 7. Some Azerbaijani news media described him as an Armenian saboteur.
