
Armenian Health Minister Meets with World Bank Health Team
Armenian Minister of Health Armen Mouradyan today met with Wezi Msisha, who heads the World Bank’s health team in Armenia.
The two discussed two current bilateral projects in Armenia – Modernization of the Health System 2 and The Prevention and Monitoring of Diseases.
The latter seeks to improve health services to mothers and their children.
Also discussed were future programs designed to modernize medical organizations in Armenia’s provinces, to prepare specialists in the fields of psychological health, and to raise the level of services in urban polyclinics.
Also attending the consultative meeting were Sousanna Hayrapetyan (the health team’s program coordinator) and senior specialist Juan Yangers.
