Four Armenian soldiers have been indicted for the murder of fellow Armenian soldier Haykaz Barseghyan, whose body was discovered on January 29 hanging from a rope attached to the horizontal bar in the gym of a training unit in Yerevan he was assigned to. 

The official charge levied by the military investigative department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee is “murder by a group of people, or by an organized group, resulting from hooliganism” (RA Criminal Code Article 104)

All four will be held in custody pending a trial.
