A group calling itself “No to Plunder” is calling on citizens to gather on June 19, in Yerevan’s Liberty Square, to protest against a proposed electricity rate hike.

The group, in a public statement released today, threatens to take drastic steps to stop the illegal rate hike if the country’s president fails to do so.

The group did not elaborate as to what those drastic steps might be.
