Armenia’s Ministry of Nature Protection has announced guidelines for the new hunting season in the country. Here are a few examples:

Quail - 10 per hunt (season Aug. 23-Oct.31)

Doves - 5 (Aug.23-Jan.31)

Partridge - 5 (Nov. 1-Dec.31)

Woodcock - 5 (Aug.23-Dec.23) Except for those in Red Book

Larks - 5 (Sept.10-Oct.31)

Blackbirds - 10 (Aug.23-Oct.31)

Cowbirds - 5 (Aug.23-Dec.31)

The ministry reports that those with hunting license can kill grey crows, magpies, wolves and jackals during the 2015-2016 hunting season.
