While the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has circulated a statement today regarding the death of three of its soldiers on September 27, purportedly during clashes with Armenian forces on the front-line, a Hetq source in Armenia’s Ministry of Defense claims the number who died was actually twelve.

The same Azerbaijani statement says that seven Armenian servicemen were killed and several injured after Azerbaijani forces carried out strikes on Armenian military staging positions.
