Drug Bust at Zvartnots Airport: Man Attempts to Smuggle $4 Million in Cocaine

Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) reports that it arrested Rafal Zelbert, a Polish citizen (born 1980), today at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport after he tried to smuggle 13 kilograms of cocaine into the country.

The NSS says the drugs have a street value of US$4 million.

The man is said to have flown to Armenia from Dubai.The flight originated in São Paulo, Brazil.
