Araksya Sukiasyan has been charged with the murder of Yerevan resident Ashot Ovoyan, whose body was discovered in his Kanaker-Zeytoun apartment on January 11.

Local police inspectors posit that Sukiasyan, who was staying at the home of Ovoyan, stabbed the latter with a kitchen knife in a jealous rage after she sound out that the man had gone on a date with a girlfriend of hers the night before.
