
Armenian Minister Discusses Solid Waste Management and Urban Investment with Asian Development Banks Head in Armenia
Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Davit Lokyan, today discussed solid waste management and investment programs in Armenia’s secondary cities with Shane Rosenthal, head of the Asian Development Bank’s Armenian office.
Gyumri, Vanadzor, Dilijan and Jermouk are the cities in Armenia now included in an Asian Development Bank project.
Minister Lokyan suggested that the towns of Edjmiatzin, Artashat, Ashtarak and Stepanavan also be included.
The two also are said to have discussed issues regarding a project tasked with improving seismic safety in Armenia.
