On June 14, the day commemorating the victims of Stalin's purges we present the documentary film Family Album.
For almost 80 years Byurakn Andreasyanhas lived carrying the memories of her parents’ execution. She was 10 years old when, during the,Stalin repressions her mother was arrested in front of her eyes, while her father had been executed 10 years before. Her husband, Rafayel Ishkhanyan’s father, had also been killed during the repression.
Their grandson Hovhannes Ishkhanyan locates the archival material belonging to his grandparents and, together with Byurakn, moves on to discover the history of his ancestors.
