Public Council of Armenia Calls for Negotiated Settlement of Police Building Seizure
The Public Council of Armenia, established in July 2008 by the government as a response to the mass public protests, has called for a negotiated settlement of the standoff between police and an armed group that seized a police building early Sunday.
The PCA, in a statement, also urges broad dialog between the government and public regarding the core problems faced by Armenia, including the Karabakh issue.
