The Sasna Dzrer armed group has released its last two hostages, Yerevan Deputy Police Chief Valeri Osipyan and Armenia Deputy Police Chief Vardan Yeghiazaryan.

This latest development in the seven-day hostage standoff was reported to A1+ news website by Sasna Dzrer member Varuzhan Avetisyan.

The group released two police officers earlier today as a sign of good will.

It remains to be seen if the group will lay down its weapons and surrender to law enforcement. Police have prevented the media from contacting Sasna Dzrer members holed up inside the police building they seized on Sunday morning.
