There was a book reception today for Shoushan Arzakanyan’s work on the life and times of noted singer/songwriter Rouben Hakhverdyan. It took place at the recently opened Bureaucrat book store in Yerevan.

The author spoke to sixty contemporaries of Hakhverdyan, getting their take on the man and his music.

"It’s amazing that his songs are still relevant after all these years and are taken to heart by successive generation," said the author.

In addition to the thoughts of Hakhverdyan’s contemporaries, there is a section of newspaper articles and interviews on the artist as well as a photo gallery.
