Police detained tens of demonstrators who had gathered outside the security cordon surrounding the police building now under the control of the armed Sasna Dzrer group since July 17.

A police official had given the demonstrators ten minutes to disperse, but soon afterwards cops unleashed tear gas and percussive grenades.
