This year’s winner of the Yerevan 2016 Half Marathon was Davit Kharazishvili, representing Georgia. Davit completed the 21.1-kilometer course in 1 hour, 9 minutes and 30 seconds, beating last year’s record by 27 seconds. 295 runners completed the course this year. The best woman runner was Yekaterina Moisyan from Russia, with a time of 1:33:46.41. In the 60 and over runners, Karim Hoseinzadehasuri (Iran) was the winner with a time of 1:38:15.83. There were also 10 and 5 kilometer runs, and a 1 kilometer run for ages 6-12. Yerevan’s Half Marathon is certified by the International Marathons’ Association.
