
Armenian Government to Pay Families of Those Killed in Russia Bus Crash $3,155 Each
The Armenian government will allocate 1.5 million AMD (US$3,155) to the families of those who died in the October 14 bus crash in North Ossetia, Russia.
Of the five who died, 3 were ethnic Russians, citizens of Russia. The two Armenians killed were citizens of Armenia. One was the driver of the bus.
Those who sustained serious injuries and are still be treated in hospitals in Russia or Armenia will receive 700,000 AMD ($1,472). Other survivors who received medical treatment will get 200,000 AMD. Finally, the rest of the 52 passengers will receive 100,000 AMD.
