Transaero and Armavia Sign Code-Share

On November 21, 2011, Transaero Airlines and Armavia signed a code–share agreement on the Moscow to Yerevan route.

A code-share flight is a commercial flight which is operated by one airline, but marketed by others.

The agreement was signed by Transaero Airlines General Director Olga Pleshakova and Armavia President Mikhail Bagdasarov.

Under the agreement Transaero will initially put its code on two daily Yerevan – Moscow – Erevan flights which are operated by Armavia. In spring 2012 Transaero will add one daily flight on Moscow – Erevan – Moscow route which will also be operated under codes of both carriers.
