Artsakh Solider In Serious Condition After Being Shot in Head; Improper Firearms Use Cited

Artsakh Defense Army soldier Gourgen Sargsyan is reported in serious condition from a gunshot to the head in what the NKR Ministry of Defense claims to have resulted from not following proper weapons use regulations.

Sargsyan is being treated at a Stepanakert military hospital

The incident occurred late last night while Sargsyan was on sentry duty at an Artsakh army post.

An investigation is underway.
