YSU Rector Relieved of Post

Today, RA Minister of Education and Sciences Armen Ashotyan relieved Aram Simonyan from his position as Rector of Yerevan State University.

The Ministry says this was done to pave the way for the upcoming scheduled open competition for the post and took into account that Mr. Simonyan’s contract with the university was to soon end.
