2 Million Euro Grant to Armenia to Build Crude Waste Dump
The E5P (Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership) will provide a 2 million euro grant to Armenia to build a new trash site for crude wastes produced by communities in of Gegharkounik and Kotayk provinces.
The Armenian government will co-finance the project.
Work on the project commenced in December 2014 when the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction provided a 3.5-million-euro loan, followed by a 3.5 million euro grant by the EU.
