
Armenian Foreign Minister and International Crisis Group Prez Discuss Karabakh
On September 22, in New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Jean-Marie Guéhenno, President of the International Crisis Group, in New York on September 22.
The International Crisis Group (ICG) is an independent organization working to prevent wars and shape policies that will build a more peaceful world.
Armenia's foreign ministry reports that upon the request of the ICG President, Minister Nalbandian presented details on the efforts being undertaken by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, as well as the gross violations of international humanitarian law during the last April’s large-scale military aggression of Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
Edward Nalbandian attached importance to the activities of the International Crisis Group and emphasized that the reports prepared by the Organization should be based on reliable sources.
