Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations says that one Armenian citizen died, and another injured, in an accident that occurred earlier today on the Krasnodar-Armavir stretch of roadway in Russia.

Artour Melikyan, the driver of one of the two cars that collided, died on the scene.

Sofik Melikyan, his passenger, was taken to a hospital in Baksan. Her condition is listed as serious, but stable.

The driver and passenger in the other car also died.
