Bungalows for Diasporan Armenians - Gaze at Ararat While Sipping Coffee

Armavir Provincial Governor Ashot Ghahramanyan told Hetq that small private homes will be built near the border with Turkey “so that our compatriots from overseas can sip their morning coffee while gazing up at Mt. Ararat.”

Ghahramanyan told this reporter that building the 600 square meter homes is part of a larger project backed by Czech investors who visited Armavir this month. The investors and local officials also discussed the possibility of building homes for young families. The government must first examine the proposal and how much the investors will be asking per square meter.

The bungalows for diasporan Armenians are to be built near the Sardarapat Memorial. Ghahramanyan says many have expressed an interest.
