
Artsakh Defense Minister Says Army Has Ensured Peace
At a round-up of the performance of the Artsakh Defense Army (ADA) in 2017, Artsakh Minister of Defense Levon Mnatsakanyan said that not one military operation of Azerbaijan had gone unnoticed by the ADA and that appropriate countermeasures had been taken, ensuring peace for the people of Artsakh.
Mnatysakanyan, who holds the rank of lieutenant-general and is the ADA Commander-in-Chief, noted that steps had been taken in 2017 to make military service for those serving on the frontline safer.
The minister added that steps had been taken to increase discipline within the ranks and to strengthen morale.
