A group of lawyers in Armenia say they will refrain from working on February 7 to protest a bill that would fine lawyers found guilty of contempt of court or violating judicial procedures.

In a letter released by the group, they call on their colleagues to join the one-day work stoppage.

Tomorrow, lawyers will gather at the Chamber of Advocates to discuss the bill and their future actions.
