Armen Sarkissian to be Inaugurated President on April 9

Armen Sarkissian will be inaugurated as Armenia’s next president on April 9.

The ceremony will take place at Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

Sarkissian will take the oath of office by placing one hand on Armenia’s constitution and the other on the bible.

The country’s parliament elected Sarkissian as the new president on March 2 by a vote of 90 to 10.
