A landmine exploded today near the Artsakh town of Martakert, killing three and injuring two employees of HALO Trust, the world’s largest humanitarian mine clearance organization.

Artsakh presidential press secretary Davit Babayan told Hetq that an investigation has been launched.

A HALO Trust press release says that the employees were in a vehicle when the mine exploded.

The injured were hospitalized and are reported to be in serious but stable condition.
