Yerevan: Police Argue Protest Rallies Violate the Rights of Others
The Armenian police have issued another statement calling for protest organizers to stop violating administrative procedural codes regarding rallies, and labelling the ongoing protests as illegal, disrupting normal life, and violating the rights and freedoms of citizens.
The police have also called on reporters and members of the press not to hinder law enforcement officers from carrying out their legal duties and to maintain a reasonable distance from rally sites and marches.
The police call on citizens to refrain from exhibiting “illegal behavior” and to stay within the confines of the law when participating in rallies or marches.
