Nikol Pashinyan says he will meet with Serzh Sargsyan on April 22 to negotiate “matters dealing with Sargyan’s resignation and the transfer of power.”

In a Facebook post, Pashinyan said that during his meeting with Armenian President Armen Sarkissian he noted his willingness to discuss conditions leading to Sargsyan’s resignation and that he received word that such a meeting had been arranged.

Pashinyan has been spearheading a week of protests calling for Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation as Armenia’s prime minister.
