Yerevan police have issued a statement today, mainly addressed to drivers participating in the ongoing protests.

Police request that drivers not break traffic rules, endangering the lives and health of citizens, and to stop disturbing Yerevan residents with “unnecessary honking of horns”.

They point out that the honking particularly disturbs the elderly and the sick, prevents normal school operation, and raises the anxiety level of children in kindergartens.

Police also ask to keep juveniles from climbing on car roofs, in or on the trunks, in order not to endanger their lives.
