Republican Party of Armenia Wants to Hear Pashinyan's "Program" Before Today's Vote

Republican Party of Armenia spokesperson Edward Sharmazanov, in an interview with ArmenPress, said his party will decide whether or not to vote in favor of Nikol Pashinyan for prime minister after he presents his government program on May 1 in the parliament.

The National Assembly will vote today to elect a new prime minister.

The other three parliamentary factions – Yelk Alliance, Tsarukyan Alliance, ARF – have announced they will be voting in favor of Pashinyan, the only declared candidate to date.
