No Quorum at Today's Parliamentary Sitting in Armenia
Armenian National Assembly was scheduled to start a regular four-day sittings today, but only 29 deputies have been registered - 28 from the ruling RPA party, and Tsarukyan Alliance Faction Secretary Vahe Enfiajyan.
Enfiajyan announced that their faction was boycotting the four-day sittings due to the situation in the country. Quorum might still be ensured within 4 hours, if 53 deputies get registered.
At present, the number of registered MPs is visible on the whiteboard.
Note to readers: Yesterday, at a special session, Armenian National Assembly voted 56-45 not to elect Nikol Pashinyan prime minister. The RPA, having political majority in the Assembly, rejected the candidacy of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
