Armenian First Deputy Defense Minister Artak Zakaryan has resigned.

Zakaryan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, posted the news on his Facebook page, writing that the ministry must be administered by the new incoming prime minister.

The outgoing deputy minister writes about the various reforms introduced in the military during the past year and hopes that the new administration will continue to do so.
