Acting Transportation Minister No Longer Wants the Job
Acting Armenian Minister of Transportation, Communication and IT Vahan Martirosyan says he's not interested in cintinuing as minister, but that his decision has nothing to do with Nikol Pashinyan as prime minister.
“It’s not that I don’t want to work in Nikol Pashinyan’s government, but rather that I have no desire to continue on as minister,” Martirosyan told reporters after today’s government cabinet session.
“I respect Nikol Pashinyan’s approaches, but I believe that I can be much more helpful to Armenia without being a minister,” Martirosyan said.
When asked if he’s thinking of resigning from the Republican Party of Armenia, Martirosyan said that “only time will tell.”
