Seventy reporters from the diapora, Armenia and Artsakh attendee the opening ceremonies of the 9th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists organized by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.

A welcoming message from Minister of Diaspora Affairs Mkhitar Hayrapetyan was read by Deputy Minister Babgen Der-Grigoryan, in which Hayrapetyan thanked disapora media outlets for covering the recent “Velvet Revolution” in Armenia and said he was confident that a revolution in Armenia-diaspora relations will also take place.

Also offering welcoming remarks were Armenia Union of Journalists President Satik Seyranyan, Association of Pan-Armenian News Outlets Vice-President Gayaneh Arakelyan, and Shahan Kandaharian, President of the Coordinating Body for Pan-Armenian Reporters Conferences.

The forum will end on June 1.
