New Boss for Armenia's Environmental Protection and Mining Inspectorate

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Artur Grigoryan the new head of the Ministry of Nature Protection’s Environmental Protection and Mining Inspectorate.

Grigoryan is the founder of the EkoIravounk (EcoRight) NGO.

In a Facebook post, Grigoryan said his two main goals are the preservation of nature and the removal of all manifestations of corruption in the inspectorate.
