Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) says it will be paying greater attention to see that all businesses, especially those engaged primarily in cash transactions, issue sales receipts.

The SRC, in a statement, says the new monitoring measures will particularly target small retail businesses like eateries and natural gas stations along the country’s roadways.

Those businesses found violating the law a second time will be afforded the decision whether to voluntarily close up shop or to pay the fines and penalties levied.
