Ex-President Kocharyan Charged with "Usurping State Power" on March 1-2, 2008

Today, Armenia’s Special Investigative Service (SIS) announced that Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan has been charged with a criminal offense on the basis of sufficient evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation on the criminal case on the events that took place in Yerevan from March 1-2, 2008.

Kocharyan is accused of violating Article 300.1 of the Armenian Criminal Code (Usurping state power, i.e. seizure of state power, in violation of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, or keeping it with violence, as well as, actions aimed at the overthrowing of constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia, or the violent breach of territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia, is punished with imprisonment for the term of 10 to 15 years).

A motion has been filed with a Yerevan Court to detent Kocharyan.

Note to Readers: Thousands in Yerevan took to the streets in February 2008 after the Central Electoral Commission declared Serzh Sargsyan the winner of the February 18 presidential election.

Combined units of the police and army attacked the protesters on March 1. Eight civilians and two police officers died in the melee.

Does anyone know if the relationship between Pashinyan and LTP is friendly and on a high level, or is it just formality? The answer to that will explain a lot of things that are happening.

It's funny though, how come number two (Kocharyan) is arrested before number one (LTP)? This raises the suspicion that Pashinyan is working with LTP, in which case, this arrest is politically motivated as suggested by Kocharyan.

For the March 1-2, 2008 events ( crime , a big tragedy ) are all three former presidents as well he head of the continental court responsible . Unfortunately, our first Presiden Levon had the same “problems” and disagreements with Vazken Manukyn back in 90s!! Is this not strange! Dirty personal issues and games ! Both Levon as well Sezjik were a failure and very bad presidents ! Robert K. was not a good prime minster at all , but ONE thing can be said for sure and there should be no doubt about this Robert K (like Monte and Vasgen Sarkissiyan) is/was a real and strong military commander and later the right person to deal with the criminal and fascist politicians in Baku ! If Robert K. were defense minter or President be sure the issue of Nachjevan were solved long tome ago as well the “issue of transportation and blocked “ …. I hope the new authorities won't forget our national interests and they wont go for revenge and so on . The new government should better fight the corruption , prevent abuse of power , and finally be preapared to deal with the issue of Nachijevan ...

То есть Никол - человек реально попадающий под эту статью, судит бывшего президента пришедшего к власти в результате проведения выборов которые признали европейские наблюдатели. Можно только с уверенностью сказать - что в результате этих действий Никол ставит себя самого вне закона)))) Армяне опомнитесь пока не поздно - пока Никол не вверг Армению в хаос.

Մարտի 1-ի գործին զուգահեռ անհապաղ պետք է սկսել հոկտեմբերի 27-ի գործի քննությունը, որի դեպքում Ռ․ Քոչարյանի կողմից իշխանության յուրացումը առավել ակներև է։ այսպիսով անցած 20 տարիների ընթացքում Ռ․ Քոչարյանը և իր հետևորդները անկաշկանդ թալանել են Հայաստանը և այդ թալանի արդյունքները վայելել են նրանց ողջ գերդաստանը ։ Ուստի արդարադատությունից չպետք է խուսափեն նաև թալանից օգտվողները։

Երբ համացանցում պատահական դիտեցի Ռ քոչարյանի հարցազրույցից մի հատվածում շատ Զարմացա որտեղ նա ոգեվորված իր իշխանության ժամանակ հայաստանի տնտեսության աճը ու այնպես էր հպարտանում կարծես հայաստանը Շվեյցարիա է սարքել ու հիմա հպարտանում է գուցե մի մեծ բան է արել իր ու իր շրջապատի համար բայց ոչ հասարակ ժողովուրդի համար երբ մինջ օրս կրում ենք իր ու Սերժի թալանի բեռը քթներից պետքա բերել ու ոչմիայն մարտի 1 ի գործով այլ այն անկուշտության թալանի ու երկիրը իրենցով սարգելու համար պետքա նստցնել կյանքի մինչև վերջը սովի ու քաղցի մեջ որպեսի զգան հասարակ ժողովրդի տառապանքը թեչը կուշտ ստամոքսով մարդը աղքատ մարդու տառապանքը չի պատկերացնի դուխով հուպ տալ է պետք ։
