Eurnekian’s Company to Spend AMD 1.5 Billion on Gyumri Airport Tarmac Renovation

Armenia” International Airports CJSC, a company owned by Argentine businessman Eduardo Eurnekian, says it will spend AMD 1.5 billion to totally refurbish the tarmac of Gyumri Airport.

The 22,000 square meter tarmac hasn’t been renovated since 1986.

The company says the tarmac will meet all international standards, thus becoming an additional stimulus to attract new airlines to service the airport in Armenia’s second largest city.
