The Berdzor Boarding School, now housing 24 children from the ages of 3-17, has been operating since 1995. School Director Samvel Kocharyan says that most of the children are from single parent families and that only a few are orphans. During the summer vacation, the children either stay at the school or attend summer camps organized in Artsakh and throughout Armenia.
