The three Armenian crew members, killed when their helicopter was shot down by Azerbaijan near the Karabakh Line of Contact on Nov. 12 were buried with full military honors at Yerevan’s Yerablour Pantheon today. Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and other top-ranking government officials paid their respects at the burial service of helicopter captain Major Sergei Sahakyan, Senior Lieutenant Sargis Nazaryan, and Lieutenant Azat Sahakyan.
