Of the five-member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Armenia ranked first when it comes to the rate of growth in the manufacturing sector in 2017.

The EAEU’s website reports that Armenia’s manufacturing sector experienced 12.6% growth, followed by Kyrgyzstan (11.5%), Kazakhstan (7.1%), Belarus (6.1%) and Russia (2.1%).

An EAEU report states that drug manufacturing showed the largest increase, followed by transportation, machinery and non-metallic mining.
