Armenian Economics Minister and World Bank Rep Discuss Steps to Reform Business Sector
Acting Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan today met with a visiting World Bank delegation headed by Genevieve Boyreau, Program Leader for the South Caucasus, Europe and Central Asia.
The two, according to a ministry press release, discussed the practicalities of Armenia’s policies geared towards future economic development.
Khachatryan presented the Armenian government’s vision for improving the country’s business competitive environment, claiming its was one of the government’s main priorities.
The acting minister also discussed the planned tax reforms in Armenia and how they would impact the business sector.
