National Assembly Vice-President Armen Ashotyan says he’ll run in the December 9 snap parliamentary election as a candidate in 4th District that includes the Erebouni, Kentron,Nubarashen and Nork-Marash districts of Yerevan.

“I have the honor to declare that I will run in the upcoming parliamentary election as a candidate from the Republican Party of Armenia,” Ashotyan posted on his Facebook page.

He will also serve as manager of the party’s campaign headquarters.

“I am certain that I will continue to serve Armenia and the people with my experience, knowledge, principled position and steadfastness as a member of the Republican Party of Armenia faction,”  Ashotyan writes.
